February 11 - Fishing Guide Mark Engler
"On the San Juan"

Engler has been guiding out of Duranglers for the past 20 years on the SJ, Animas, Pine and other area waters. The WD40 was his invention when he worked for Abe's, and along the way he's been known to machine a reel or two. When not guiding, you might find Mark at his favorite pasttime -- flyfishing for pike at Vallecito Res, or in the Gulf/Caribbean working saltwater flies. Engler is living the dream! If you've been to the San Juan, or thought about going, Mark will provide an education about the finer points of increasing your success there.

• First Cast - teaching youth about coldwater conservation through angling.

• Conservation & Fishing Youth Camps - scholarship cosponsored with the Sangre de Cristo Sierra Club's "Water Sentinel" program for youth
